Relationship Coaching for Women

Individualized coaching (not couples therapy!) designed to help you understand your patterns, soften old defenses, and build relationships (romantic, professional, friendly, and familial) that feel safe, mutual, and sustainable.

What Is Relationship Coaching for Women?

Relationship coaching focuses on you. Together, we explore how your nervous system, attachment history, and lived experiences shape the way you relate to romantic partners and to formative relationships like your mother or primary caregivers. It also includes how you protect yourself and respond to intimacy.

This coaching is designed for those who want to understand why certain dynamics keep repeating, what’s actually happening in their body and mind during conflict or closeness, and how to build relationships that feel safe, mutual, and sustainable.

Many of the women I work with are highly capable, analytical, and successful in their careers. Their ability to think quickly, anticipate outcomes, and problem-solve has served them well professionally, but those same skills can fuel overthinking, self-doubt, or emotional shutdown in close relationships.

Helping women move out of reactive patterns and into self-led, grounded relationship choices.

My Approach

Trauma-Informed, Relational, Nervous-System Aware

Understanding your patterns matters, but change happens when your nervous system learns safety, choice, and flexibility in real time. Our work is guided by orienting principles such as:

Mend. Manage. Master.

  • Mend old relational wounds and protective patterns

  • Manage triggers, communication breakdowns, and nervous system responses

  • Master conscious, self-led relationship choices

When supportive and appropriate, sessions may also include:

  • EMDR or Brainspotting for resourcing and regulation (not trauma processing)

  • Therapeutic yoga and breathwork for nervous system support

  • Body-based practices to help insight land where it matters

What You’ll Gain From Relationship Coaching

Greater clarity and less emotional confusion

  • Reduced anxiety, guilt, and self-blame in relationships

  • Stronger boundaries without emotional shutdown

  • Increased capacity for intimacy and connection

  • More choice, less reactivity

  • A sense of being self-led rather than pulled by old patterns

  • Greater clarity around longstanding relational dynamics, including complicated or painful patterns with a parent, without getting stuck in blame or rehashing the past

Clients often describe moments of relief where things suddenly click because their internal experience finally makes sense.

Many of my clients once believed they were “too much,” “too late,” or “bad at relationships.” That story doesn’t hold up when the right support is in place.

Who Relationship Coaching is For

This work may be a fit if you:

Feel anxious, shut down, or reactive in relationships, even when your partner is “doing the right things”

Identify as hyper-independent, guarded, or uncomfortable needing others

Repeatedly question yourself, your boundaries, or whether you’re “too much”

Notice patterns of choosing emotionally unavailable or unsafe partners

Understand your trauma intellectually, but still feel hijacked in real-time moments

Want depth and honesty, not surface-level advice or rigid formulas

Are intelligent, driven, and self-aware, and notice that what makes you excellent at your work (analysis, independence, emotional control) creates distance, conflict, or exhaustion in your personal relationships

Many clients come in saying, “I understand this logically,
so why does it still feel so hard?”

This work is for women whose insight is already strong, but whose nervous system hasn’t caught up yet.
