Had to walk the rocks to see the mountain view.
— Lyric from Lead of Love by Caedmon’s Call

Hi, I’m Jenn.

Therapist. Coach. Former single mom. Stepmom of four teens. Trauma survivor. Big-hearted truth-teller.

I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel seen, heard, and deeply respected. I know what it’s like to grow up without that. I was raised by an inner-city minister and lost both my parents as a teen. My healing path started young—and it’s been messy, humbling, and real.

Before I became a therapist, I worked in corporate design. After a while, I realized I could probably die in my cubicle and no one would notice. So I left. My son was five. I took out student loans, quit my job, and went to social work school full-time. Everyone thought I was nuts. Except one friend. That was 25 years ago.

I’ve been in this work ever since.

What it's like to work with me

I'm not a “just nod and take notes” therapist. We’ll cry, sure—but we’ll laugh too. I bring depth and soul to the table, along with a no-BS, real-world approach that makes healing feel possible. I combine therapy and coaching because healing and growth go hand-in-hand.

We’ll work on understanding your past and building the future you actually want.

Credentials & Curiosity

I’ve trained in EMDR, IFS, ACT, CBT, hypnotherapy, mindfulness, somatic work, and therapeutic yoga. I also read obsessively, ask big questions, and spend my time geeking out on trauma, nervous systems, spiritual growth, and why women feel like they’re not enough (when they absolutely are).

Outside of the therapy room...

You’ll find me cooking, reading, hiking, watching something offbeat, traveling, or trying not to burn dinner while managing four teenagers.
I'm a little irreverent, deeply empathetic, and always up for trying something new.
Also? I donate monthly to Women for Women International, because I believe in real change—from the inside out and the bottom up.

Bottom line?

You’re not too much. You’re not behind. And you're not broken.

I help high-functioning women heal trauma, anxiety, and burnout so they can stop surviving and start living. If that sounds like you, I’d love to talk.

You don’t have to hide the real you.

Imagine having a space to show up without apology—no perfectionism, no mask. A space where your fears don’t scare anyone off, and your “too much” is met with understanding, not judgment.

You don’t have to keep wondering what if. You get to choose yourself, now.

I’ve been there—tired, stuck in survival mode, telling myself “this is as good as it gets.” But I knew better. And so do you.

Let’s find the version of you that’s been waiting to breathe.
